Directions
In a pot add following ingredients cooking oil, raisins, dried bay leaf, onion powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, beef, tomato puree, dried oregano, all spice, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, salt, black pepper powder, nutmeg, brown sugar, green beans, sweet potatoes, long grain rice, broth,, clarified butter
Mix well and cook in medium heat in onepot/smart cooker/rice cooker/pressure cooker for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes the result look like above picture.
Serve immediately with choice of sweet pickles.
Conclusion
A. To cook long-grained white rice, Standard water and rice ratio is 2:1 (2 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice). With this recipe we have added vegetables and meat so, to avoid the excess moisture which results in the rice being mushy we have to reduce the water level to 1 cup of water for every 1 cup of rice, and that's how we can get the perfect fluffy rice. Therefore we have mentioned 50% broth in the recipe.
